The radioactive atom, gallium-68 (68Ga), decays with a half-life of approximately 68 min to the stable isotope zinc-68 (68Zn), to 89% by β+ decay whereby a positron with a maximum kinetic energy of 1.9 MeV is emitted (the remaining 11% are EC decays). Due to the short half-life, 68Ga-Trivehexin can not be manufactured long before use but the 68Ga has to be introduced into the molecule shortly before application. This process is referred to as radiolabeling, and is done by complexation of the trivalent cation 68GaIII by the TRAP chelator in Trivehexin. 68GaIII is usually obtained from a dedicated mobile radionuclide source, a Gallium-68 generator, in form of a solution in dilute (0.04–0.1 M) hydrochloric acid (frequently and imprecisely referred to as "68Ga chloride solution in HCl" despite it contains no species with a Ga–Cl bond but [68Ga(H2O)6]3+ complex hydrate cations). For radiolabeling, the pH of the 68Ga containing generator eluate has to be raised from its initial value (depending on HCl concentration, pH 1–1.5) to pH 2–3.5 using suitable buffers, such as sodium acetate. Then, Trivehexin (5–10 nmol) is added to the buffered 68Ga-containing solution, and the mixture is briefly heated to 50–100 °C (usually 2–3 min) to finalize the complexation reaction.

Birds are tetrapods but though their hind limbs are used for walking or hopping, their front limbs are wings covered with feathers and adapted for flight. Birds are endothermic, have a high metabolic rate, a light skeletal system and powerful muscles. The long bones are thin, hollow and very light. Air sac extensions from the lungs occupy the centre of some bones. The sternum is wide and usually has a keel and the caudal vertebrae are fused. There are no teeth and the narrow jaws are adapted into a horn-covered beak. The eyes are relatively large, particularly in nocturnal species such as owls. They face forwards in predators and sideways in ducks. The feathers are outgrowths of the epidermis and are found in localized bands from where they fan out over the skin. Large flight feathers are found on the wings and tail, contour feathers cover the bird's surface and fine down occurs on young birds and under the contour feathers of water birds. The only cutaneous gland is the single uropygial gland near the base of the tail. This produces an oily secretion that waterproofs the feathers when the bird preens. There are scales on the legs, feet and claws on the tips of the toes.
== Dynacare in Alberta, Canada == The 1994 Alberta Regional Health Authorities Act had created "new opportunities for contracting out both the management and delivery of public healthcare services to private business in lieu of public or non-profit agencies." The Regional Health Authorities that were created through the 1994 Act, were given the authority to "create subsidiary corporations and delegate responsibilities, powers and duties to either public, private or hybrid agencies." In response to 1994 Act, Dynacare Kasper Medical Laboratories and MDS Kasper in southern Alberta, merged into "two large corporate entities or virtual private monopolies for contracting purposes." A 2009 Alberta Consumers Association report raised concerns that this merger had left "smaller companies out in the cold". Concerns were raised in the fall of 2020, when Alberta Premier "took the first big step toward privatization in health care" by outsourcing public health sector jobs. The next cuts will be in community lab testing, where "about 2,000 workers are expected to “transition” to the private provider." At the same time that Premier Kenney was announcing privatization plans, Pincock came to Calgary to announce that DynaLIFE would be offering paid voluntary COVID-19 tests for departing travellers at $150 per test. The Calgary Herald said that DynaLIFE is the preferred choice for Alberta's private lab services when the public health service is outsourced.

== Biosynthesis == Both ginger (Zingiber officinale) and turmeric (Curcuma longa) had been suspected to utilize phenylpropanoid pathway and produce putative type III polyketide synthase products based on the research of 6-gingerol biosynthesis by Denniff and Whiting in 1976 and by Schröder's research in 1997. 6-Gingerol is the major gingerol in ginger rhizomes and it possesses some interesting pharmacological activities like analgesic effect. While the biosynthesis of 6-gingerol is not fully elucidated, plausible pathways are presented here.

After presenting to an outside facility with chest pain, Sen. Sanders was diagnosed with a myocardial infarction. He was immediately transferred to Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center.
