=== Remembrance === The Greater Poland uprising was not remembered as well as the January Uprising or the Warsaw Uprising in Polish history and popular culture, despite it being the only one of the three uprisings cited that succeeded. This was due to three factors, the first due to it being an uprising that did not apply to Polish tradition. There were no major icons of the uprising, no heroes, no real martyrs. The uprising could not be passed down by generations as a heroic fight to the death, since it was just a military operation that pushed the Germans out of a section of the Prussian Partition. Secondly, the fighters of the uprising were not engaged for the whole uprising and many of them did not find themselves part of any actual fighting group. Many part of the original uprisings simply took up arms, liberated their towns and by sundown they had eaten dinner and went back to civilian life. Thirdly, there were very few casualties. On 23 December 2021, Polish President Andrzej Duda declared 27 December as a National Holiday, commemorating this uprising.
Alagille syndrome is an autosomal dominant disorder that impacts five systems, including the liver, heart, skeleton, face, and eyes. In the early part of life (within the first three months), patients with Alagille syndrome exhibit conjugated hyperbilirubinemia, severe pruritus, and jaundice. Bile duct obliteration usually worsens over time, causing cirrhosis of the liver and eventual failure. === Inhibin === Quantification of inhibin A is part of the prenatal quad screen that can be administered during pregnancy at a gestational age of 16–18 weeks. An elevated inhibin A (along with an increased beta-hCG, decreased AFP, and a decreased estriol) is suggestive of the presence of a fetus with Down syndrome. As a screening test, abnormal quad screen test results need to be followed up with more definitive tests. It also has been used as a marker for ovarian cancer. Inhibin B may be used as a marker of spermatogenesis function and male infertility. The mean serum inhibin B level is significantly higher among fertile men (approximately 140 pg/mL) than in infertile men (approximately 80 pg/mL). In men with azoospermia, a positive test for inhibin B slightly raises the chances for successfully achieving pregnancy through testicular sperm extraction (TESE), although the association is not very substantial, having a sensitivity of 0.65 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.56–0.74) and a specificity of 0.83 (CI: 0.64–0.93) for prediction the presence of sperm in the testes in non-obstructive azoospermia.

=== Sensory and nervous systems === Although starfish do not have many well-defined sense organs, they do perceive touch, light, temperature, orientation and the status of the water around them. The tube feet, spines and pedicellariae are sensitive to touch. The tube feet, especially those at the tips of the rays, are also sensitive to chemicals, enabling the starfish to detect odour sources such as food. There are eyespots at the ends of the arms, each one made of 80–200 simple ocelli composed of pigmented epithelial cells. Individual photoreceptor cells are present in other parts of their bodies and respond to light. Whether they advance or retreat depends on the species. Traditionally, starfish were thought to lack a centralized brain. Instead, there is a complex nervous system with a nerve ring around the mouth and a radial nerve running along the ambulacral region of each arm parallel to the radial canal. The peripheral nerve system consists of two nerve nets: one in the epidermis and the other in the lining of the coelomic cavity, which are the sensory and motor systems respectively. Neurons passing through the dermis join the two. Both the ring and radial nerves function in movement and sensory. The sensory component is supplied with information from the sensory organs while the motor nerves control the tube feet and musculature. If one arm detects something attractive, it becomes dominant and temporarily over-rides the other arms to initiate movement towards it. Recent genetic evidence, however, suggests that the majority of an echinoderm's body is "all-brain".

Trump has publicly accused Powell of “incompetence,” threatened to remove him from office, and raised the prospect of legal action tied to the renovation project. As of April 2026, Powell has not been charged with any crime. The Department of Justice dropped the investigation on April 24, 2026.

=== Cardiovascular disease === There is no evidence that vitamin C supplementation decreases the risk of cardiovascular disease, although there may be an association between higher circulating vitamin C levels or dietary vitamin C and a lower risk of stroke. There is a positive effect of vitamin C on endothelial dysfunction when taken at doses greater than 500 mg per day. (The endothelium is a layer of cells that line the interior surface of blood vessels.)

Suppliers normally quote a percentage of total chromatographic peak area, most often from reversed-phase HPLC. That figure says nothing about what the remaining percentage contains, and it depends on the detection wavelength used. A mass spectrometry result is a separate and stronger check on identity.
